We should all mail him a large check.......

.....a picture of a large check mark that is.

Great idea.

Well...mailing him something anyway. Maybe something like a small plunger that you can get in a dollar store. He can use it on his job.

A DUmbass and our welfare money are soon parted.

That was my first thought, the DUmbasses are just throwing good money after bad.

Another thing we could do, is mail him those fake checks that are actually a coupon for something that you have no interest in buying.

That sounds like a heluva idea!

Something tells me he should have used nads and her knowledge of campaign finance laws so that he might not end up not as a member of the Bellevue City Council, but as a convicted felon for fraud and election violations.

Just another John Edwards wannabe in action.

And that's all there is to it; just an appeal for money.

No information on what the big guy thinks, what he proposes to do.....or anything.

Just an appeal for money.

How about you and I sit back and have a one-page Tucker & franksolich site appealing for money, without telling why we're soliciting it?  Maybe we can get some pocket-money out of it?  I dunno, but probably not.

I doubt if this is really an issue, but there's something odd.

The campaign treasurer lives in Papillion, which is a city different from Bellevue.

The big guy's own treasurer can't vote for him.

There's probably nothing wrong with it--I dunno--but I'm sure if franksolich were running for surveyor of Knox County, and his treasurer was a resident of Rock County, a primitive or two might make an issue of it.

It's not unusual.  Campaign managers/staff rarely if ever live the district of the candidate.

His website is paid for by someone who lives in Bellevue.

I wouldn't bet on it. Keep in mind that this is the democrat party we're talking about.

It would be fun to mail Chief Sobbing Steer a penny, but send it postage due.

Actually, I'm not too worried about election fraud, especially outside of Omaha itself.

In case you didn't know this, for decades Omaha was run by one of the most venal, the most corrupt Democrat party machines ever invented, which was overthrown in 1961.

Vestiges of it still remained, however, and the last two mayors (D) tried to rebuild the machine from those bits-and-pieces, with some success.  That's why the Magic One got one of Nebraska's five electoral votes, much to our embarrassment and shame, in 2008, because the bosses managed to create some more votes in the deep blue precincts.

I've been concerned about Omaha slipping back into the bad old days of Democrat bossism, but at any rate, in Bellevue, the vote counts are clean, never a scandal of the least bit.
