There is something scary about that statement but I am not sure just what, the fact of a kid having ten bucks in hs or that it is now only worth one thenth what it was whenever that was. Of course gas was around a quarter a gallon or less when I was in hs so maybe that is where I am having the difficulty understanding why a kid would need that kind of dough in hs. I could drive all week on a two dollar bill. 'Course I did have Fiat which got great mileage when being pushed.  |
