Dug through the stack of mail on the kitchen counter and found the census form. I'm torn. I'm half tempted to just fill out the number of people living here (2) or actually fill the whole thing out. I'm sure my roommate will fill out all her info though.

We got the census form about two weeks ago. I guess I should fill it out. They sent a reminder postcard stressing that it is required to be filled out.

The one thing that really got me was the Race section. Last time I checked, my race was Caucasian. Not White. White is a color, not a race.

I like you. I have mine all filled out, and it is on my table waiting to be mailed. I have received a letter stating I better hurry up and fill that out, the dang day after I got it. Really, I own my own house, they already have my SSN, and phone number, linked to this address. I debated claiming my dog as a second resident, as: "Australian, Canine." but thought better of it. I will more than likely earn my way to the S-list of the gubmint at some point, might not want to do it just yet.  |

On my tax forms, where it asks for my phone number, I always put (970) 911-1212 (or some other variation off of the 911-prefix). I also list my occupation as "Third World Despot". (Who knew that the US was going to be a third-world country in my lifetime and I'd actually get my chance...) |
