Bummer to have opened the show with a tape of the young luger's death run. Wasn't expecting them to show him actually crashing. Matt Lauer was totally annoying and ruined the parade of athletes by making it all about medals and politics ("Only Ireland separates Israel and Iran!"). Can't we just celebrate them being there !? Ack. NBC doesn't disappoint, lol. Ok, here's my favorite 5 minutes of Olympics, in my lifetime anyhow............from the days when our hockey teams were scrappy college kids, not NHL All-Stars! |

After the pairs figure skating short program, best we can finish is 10 & 14 ? Final round tonight, maybe they'll skate well without the pressure. But dang, we have the best figure skating program in the world, this is disappointing  |
