From the radio address by King George VI, given to the people of the British Empire on December 25, 1939, when things were starting to go badly:
".....and I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year, 'Give me a light so that I may tread safely into the unknown.'
"And he replied, 'Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the Hand of God. That shall be to you better than a light and safer than a known way'....."

No, read the article. It uses a base of muscle and some other stuff to make it "grow". My question IS: where do they get the "base" ingredients from?? They HAVE to come from SOME animal. What do we do if this catches on and we have a plethora of animals, overpopulating each country??

The sheeping of America is nearly complete."

There was a story about an attempt to grow meat this way, but the pieces grown were just mush. Evidently, they were trying to find a way to "exercise" the meat to imitate actual muscle fibers and structure. As with the thread on vegetarian meat, I think I'll stick to the real thing.
