In an hour and a half, I'll be heading to the title office to sign the closing papers on my first house.
I have a lot of nervous energy right now.
I'm looking forward to moving out of the apartment and kissing my renting days goodbye. I'm still sort of in awe that I was able to do this on my own, with my piddly little salary.
Life is full of surprises.
When I get all moved, I'll try and take some pics so you all can see it.

From the radio address by King George VI, given to the people of the British Empire on December 25, 1939, when things were starting to go badly:
".....and I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year, 'Give me a light so that I may tread safely into the unknown.'
"And he replied, 'Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the Hand of God. That shall be to you better than a light and safer than a known way'....."

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....
