Pogue!
Blow me jarhead; I'm a medic. I was a medic and earned my EFMB when I was first in from 87-90 (in Germany when the Wall came down...I'm sure you read about that in school, young 'un). When I returned--16 yrs later--I was a mortarman (leg, not mech) then I was sent on to be an FO with the BN scout section. When I came out to Colorado I went back to being a medic because otherwise the only thing out here was pogue jobs and I hate pogues. Alas, my day job is attending to a bunch of colonels, majors and captains.
Not a pogue:
Be nice, because when that IED lays into you, I'll be the one running up with the Hefty bag and duct tape.
