I wanted to look like a Christian conservative as well as being one!

Looks much better, but you can be a christian and a conservative no matter what your hair looks like.

I agree. Just that, for me, I wanted to bring my outward appearance and inner beliefs into line, if that makes sense!

Well, my girl is taking a bit of convincing. Only one vote! I'm not at all sensitive so you can tell me what you feel!

Wolf must have edited the pics.  I'll add some as examples.

Before his haircut.

After his trip to the barber.

oh. my.

OH the heck with it, just let it grow, let it fly in the breeze and be caught by the honey bees ----Give me a head of hair, long beautiful hair, shinning, gleaming ,flaxen  waxen hair., give me lots of hair, shoulder length longer .

Some of the most Conservative men to come out of my generation have.   Pony tails.

When one comes to clean cut, nothing can beat a balding man with a pulled back pony tail that covers the spot.

At least the hair they have says their still viral and not an old man.

I had long hair - most of the way down my back - for ten years after I turned 17. Traded it in for the #2 cut for a number reasons - the most important being comfort, close second  the constant maintenance.

Will never go back to having longer than a #2 now. It's so much more pleasant when the mercury hits 110F @ 90% RH and doesn't really move for a few weeks. Especially if one is working outdoors in the sun.

I had shoulder length hair right up to one week before going to boot camp. I got a buzz cut before going in and have kept it short ever since.
